Women of Williamsburg

The month of March is designated as Women’s History Month.  Williamsburg County has a bit of its own women’s “herstory”.  Williamsburg County has two contributors of its very own to “herstory” making they are our county supervisor Dr. Tiffany Wright, first female elected to hold the position since the inception of the county as well as Statewide.  Ivory Henryhand is the first woman coroner elected in the history of the county.  The “Women of Williamsburg” in leadership roles are a growing phenomenon in the county!  They have a woman leader and they are leaders in their respective departments/offices. From the “men of the county”, we salute you this month and always.
